An Update On My Date of Departure

This is a post about my health, so, as usual, skip it if you’d like, otherwise click the read more link below. This morning one of my doctors mentioned they don’t really expect my ANC to rebound for I think she said at least two more weeks, which was kind of disappointing, but it is good to know what their expectations are.

It’s raining outside, and I’m probably going to get to take a shower tonight, which would be nice.

A friend called the hospital about bone marrow dontation/transplantation, and they pointed him to be the match, which is the general bone marrow donation network. It won’t be for a few more months, in my case, probably. In any case, a lot of people have offered, but its not as simple as matching me, they’ll look at my brothers first, but after that it’s just the plain registry, which they can join at the above site.

That’s it for now,

cody

Hang in there Cody… Like you said at least they gave you a time frame that you can aim for and keep gaining your strength … How are the puzzles coming along?

I’m at a bit of an impasse, having solved one of the puzzles very nearly I need to get over the fact that I’m going to make it worse before it gets better — it’s one of the pieces of advice that helped me learn to solve Rubik’s cube the first time.

Ha, thank you, though I’m probably good with puzzles and stuff. Happy belated Easter to you too!
