At some point this was a small stellated dodecahedron. Then it got woven together, then inverted, trimmed, inverted again, trimmed some more, and now it’s some kind of flowery looking thing. And the other night I accidentally learned enough topology to know how to classify this, though I may have forgotten already. That’s happened with past instances.
It was printed & cast in premium silver (highly polished silver) by Shapeways, and here is the product page.
It can be pretty hard to discern what is going on from the photos, and although the video helps, the shininess can still obfuscate the geometry. So below is a 3D model that illustrates the geometry more clearly. (Though it’s missing the loop I added to fix the bail to.)
