This is a post about my health, so to read on click the link below, or skip it if you'd like.
So I'm home finally! It's really nice to be able to use the bathroom, or get up and walk to the kitchen, without calling for help. And it's really nice not to have to wear a mask whenever I leave the room.
I'm real weak, so I'm taking it really easy, but looking forward to gaining some strength back. The nurse told me to gain five pounds but I'd like to gain quite a bit more than that if I can.
The first time I went up the stairs last night I think I stepped on the second step right away, because I used to take the steps two at a time, but stepping to the fourth step next wasn't going to happen so I stumbled onto the stairs — but I'm already acclimating to using all the steps now.
According to the doctors it shouldn't take me more than a week or two to get over the extreme weakness and rebuild my confidence in my body. As that happens I hope to start working more on curved crease origami again, I'm thinking about trying some new ideas to make maybe earrings, if everything works out well.
